Hermitage BEST Kids is designed for elementary-aged children in pre-k through 5th grade in the elementary schools we serve. Our after-school and summer camp programs support kids as they grow, helping them build confidence, independence, and strong friendships in a warm, welcoming environment.

Each day follows a familiar, comforting rhythm—because kids thrive when they know what to expect.

Our days include time for:

• Creative play and exploration

• Movement and group activities

• Social connection and friendship-building

• Calm moments to reset and unwind

Every day feels a little different, but always safe, engaging, and intentional.

We prefer students begin their journey with our after school program on a Monday (or the start of a week), but we can work with our families to start any day of the week if the need is urgent.

Pickup for Pre-K students is by 5 pm (except Stanford Montessori preschoolers, who have a dismassal time of 3pm and a 6pm pick up time) and for Elementary School students is by 6pm.

A late fee of $10 will be charged for each 15 minutes that you are late past 5:05pm for Pre-K students and 6:05pm for Elementary students.

Afternoon pickup is around the back of the building. Please drive between Sky Lounge and Lone Wolf and around the back of the building to our Best Kids classroom door (painted a bright turquoise color). Pull up to the door, call the number out back when you arrive, and we will bring your child out to your car for you.

We offer easy, all-inclusive membership options with affordable installments designed to fit busy family life. Each option includes reliable after-school pick-up for school days, with flexible coverage depending on your family’s needs.

Here’s a simple breakdown to help you choose the best fit:

🌟 42-Week Membership (No Camp Days)

This option includes:

• After-school pick-up for all days school is in session

• Daily after-school care during the school year

This option does not include:

• Full-day care on school closure days (such as fall break, spring break, MLK Day, etc.)

• Summer camp

Best for families who only need after-school care during the regular school year.

🌟 52-Week Membership (No Camp Days)

This option includes:

• After-school pick-up for all days school is in session

• 10 weeks of summer camp

This option does not include:

• Full-day care on school closure days during the school year (such as fall break, spring break, MLK Day, etc.)

Best for families who want after-school care during the year plus summer camp, but do not need care on school closure days.

🌟 42-Week Membership (With All Camp Days)

This option includes:

• After-school pick-up for all days school is in session

• Full-day care on all school closure days, including fall break, spring break, MLK Day, and similar days

This option does not include:

• Summer camp

Best for families who want coverage during the school year and school breaks, but not summer.

🌟 52-Week Membership (With All Camp Days)

This is our most inclusive option and includes:

• After-school pick-up for all days school is in session

• 10 weeks of summer camp

• Full-day care on all school closure days, including fall break, spring break, MLK Day, and more

Best for families who want complete, year-round coverage with the most ease and flexibility.

Memberships may be canceled at any time with a 7-day notice via the Best Kids Cancellation Form (found in your parent portal or click the button below) and a termination fee (if applicable).

Fees for your last week are due regardless of attendance. If you decide to renew your membership in the future, after termination (we hope so!), you will have to pay the join fee again.
